Vacationstogo.com and CostcoTravel, a bit misleading

This morning, I thought I found a fabulous cruise deal for an  RSSC Seven Seas cruise.

According to both Costco Travel and Vacationstogo.com,  a cruise from Singapore to Hong Kong on RSSC Voyager departing on Dec 5, 2017, for 12 nights, is now $6799. Vacationsto go.com claims it is an 84% discount from the brochure price of $42,598. Except on the RSSC site, the brochure rate is listed as $28,598.

The itinerary is below.

Date Port Arrive Depart
Tuesday, December 5 Singapore 6:00pm

Wednesday, December 6 At Sea

Thursday, December 7 Ko Samui, Thailand 8:00am 5:00pm

Friday, December 8 Bangkok (Laem Chabang), Thailand 8:00am

Saturday, December 9 Bangkok (Laem Chabang), Thailand 5:00pm

Sunday, December 10 At Sea

Monday, December 11 Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam 8:00am

Tuesday, December 12 Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam 4:00pm

Wednesday, December 13 Nha Trang, Vietnam 10:00am 7:00pm

Thursday, December 14 At Sea

Friday, December 15 Sanya, China 8:00am 4:00pm

Saturday, December 16 Hong Kong 4:00pm

Sunday, December 17 Hong Kong Disembark

Most RSSC cruises include: 2-FOR-1 All-Inclusive Fares, FREE Business Class Air on All Intercontinental Flights,  BOTH with FREE Transfers Between Airport and Ship, FREE Pre- or Post-Cruise Land Program, FREE Unlimited Shore Excursions, FREE Unlimited Beverages Including Fine Wines and Premium Spirits, FREE Open Bars and Lounges Plus In-Suite Mini-Bar Replenished Daily, FREE Pre-Paid Gratuities, FREE Specialty Restaurants, FREE Unlimited WiFi.

So, I was really excited until I checked the RSSC site where it states: A savings of up to $6,000 per person is available when arranging your own flights and transfers.

Really, there is no deal. Vacationstogo.com and Costco.com just subtracted the cost of airfare and transfers and listed that as the price on their site.  I got really excited for nothing. This is a case of misleading advertising.
